Measure and record chassis height from center of front wheel hub to outer fender edge. Chassis measurement should not exceed 21 inches (NOTICE INCLUDE SPACER HEIGHT TO TOTAL MEASUREMENT)
    •  SMX-10075 - Equals approximately 1.0 inches of additional chassis height.
    •  SMX-10100 - Equals approximately 1.25 inches of additional chassis height.
    •  SMX-10125 - Equals approximately 1.75 inches of additional chassis height
SuspensionMaxx recommends this kit be installed by a licensed certified technician using approved SAFETY Equipment & procedures.


These instructions shall not be substituted for the factory repair procedures.

CAUTION DO NOT REMOVE CENTER STRUT ROD NUT UNTILL SPRING IS SAFELY COMPRESSED USING THE PROPERLY DESIGNED TOOLS!

Raise & SAFELY support the vehicle under the specified frame contact points.
Mark wheel lug position & remove front wheels to gain access to front suspension.
Remove upper strut mount retaining nuts (see Fig.2)
Remove lower strut nut at lower control arm. (See Fig.3)
Separate strut to lower control arm taper. (See Fig.4)
Remove Strut body, spring & upper mount as one assembly.
Use care when removing strut, to avoid damaging drive axle boots.

CAUTION DO NOT REMOVE CENTER STRUT ROD NUT UNTILL SPRING IS SAFELY COMPRESSED USING THE PROPERLY DESIGNED TOOLS!

Mark exact orientation of upper strut mounting studs prior to removal of strut mount (see Fig.5)

SPRING IS UNDER EXTREEM TENSION AND CORRECT TOOLS & PROCEEDURES MUST BE USED!

ONCE SPRING IS SAFETLY COMPRESSED & SECURRED THE CENTER STRUT NUT CAN BE REMOVED.

CAUTION! DO NOT ALLOW THE STRUT SHAFT TO ROTATE EXCESSIVLY!
Remove upper strut mount and separate spring insulator/guide from upper spring mount.
(Notice spring insulator/guide may be frozen on upper mount.)

NOTICE! LOWER JOUNCE WASHER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH SUPPLIED WASHER TO ALLOW CLEARANCE FOR MAXXSPACER

Install MAXX SPACER between Upper mount & insulator/guide (see Fig.6)

Reinstall upper mount, MAXXspacer & original spring insulator/guide onto strut shaft.
(Notice spring may require additional compression to thread nut on strut rod due to spacer being installed)
Rotate upper strut mount to align with reference from Fig 5.

Reinstall strut as removed from vehicle.
Wheel Alignment Recommended, Align front wheels to manufactures specifications.
